About this file
This is Amendment 2 to solicitation SP4510-25-Q-1025 for Portable Truck Scales, extending the solicitation closing date to March 11, 2025 at 2pm EST and providing answers to bidder questions.
The amendment clarifies technical requirements for the truck scales, including: NTEP certification requirements for scales and indicators, minimum width requirement of 32 inches to accommodate dual wheel vehicles, maximum of 4 load cells per system with two independent platforms per deck, and integrated printer requirement. The scales will be used to weigh various vehicles from passenger trucks to 18-wheelers hauling scrap materials, with average loaded weight of 40,000 LBS and average daily traffic of 7 vehicles. The platform length must be minimum 8ft. While 30-day delivery was originally specified, the amendment indicates longer delivery times will be considered if clearly stated in quotes.
