MAINTENANCE TASK LIST #1

TYPE EQUIPMENT: AIRCRAFT K-LOADER, DIESEL POWERED, 40K

CAP, PRT

Notes:

1. Lubricates all grease fittings.

2. Check for freeze protection to at least 10 degrees F. Check for leaks in cooling system hoses, radiator; Check cap for proper seal; top-off; change if contaminated; blow out fans w/compressed air. Mark unit for current year check.

3. Clean, impact & Re-pack annually; replace seals/gaskets if required.

4. Change oil and filter annually; check semi-annually and add if required.

5. Change/clean filter element annually; check for defective parts; check semi-annually.

6. Check level and top-off; check hoses; and fittings for leaks; check pump motor and related components for proper operation; check lift, tilt, and side shift cylinders for leaks, damage and proper operation.

7. Check engine for damage, proper operations and adjust as required. Full tune-up to be accomplished on remedial maintenance.

8. Check levels and top-off semi-annually; change filter (s) and oil; inspect for damage annually.

9. Check for excessive backlash; check for leaks or damaged power steering unit; lubricate steering box, grease fittings and all moving parts w/out grease fittings as required; check tires for excess wear and correct air pressure.

10. Check annually exhausts manifold, pipes, muffler, and hangars/clamps for leaks or damage.

11. Inspection of all safety related components, to include as a minimum, front and rear lights, brakes, brake pedals, tires, horn, back-up alarm, overhead guard and fire extinguisher. Check platform/ladder, deck and handrail.

12. Check all roller bearings for binding, looseness, or damage; check chain (s) for length, proper adjustment, excessive wear, or damage. Lubricate all chains, roller bearings, trunnions. Check handrail, ladder and deck for damage and serviceability.

4. Load test in accordance with CFR 29, part 1910.

5. Check for wear; Check for proper operation; Inspect for damaged, worn or broken parts; replace necessary seals and gaskets

6. Inspect all safety related components; Check lights/lenses; Check brakes and brake pedal; check emergency brake; check fire extinguisher; perform operational run for proper operation of all systems. All repairs required by virtue of a safety inspection, shall be accomplished under Remedial maintenance 7.Top off electrolyte levels; Check cables/connectors for damage; Clean off exterior of Batteries and remove all acid build-up.

2. Lubricate all points per manufacturer recommendations.

3. Do not mix radial with bias ply tires on same vehicle. Check the pressure when tires are cold. Check for unusual wear; If required, rotate and match according to tread design and degree of wear.

4. Inspect airlines, reservoir and fittings for damage or leaks; Drain accumulated condensate from air reservoir; Inspect all valves, air chambers, fittings and connecting lines for damage and defects. Check and adjust last adjusters

5. Inspect, repack, clean and adjust as necessary.

Top off semi-annually; change annually

4. Lubricate, inspect, check tension.

5. Inspect all safety components to include front and rear lights, brakes, brake pedals, Tires, horn, back-up alarm, overhead guard and fire extinguisher. All repairs required as a result of Safety Inspection shall be accomplished under Remedial Maintenance, with the approval of the COR.

6. Replaceable filters checked semi-annually, change annually; Reusable screen filters clean semi-annually and annually.

7. In accordance with Code of Federal Regulation (CFR) 29, Part 1910; stencil Capacity when required.

8. Inspect, maintain; check/fill battery water level; inspect cables and connections for Damage.

5. Oil should be filled to within 1/4” of top of reservoir when yard ramp is in the fully lowered position.
