About this file

This document is a comprehensive technical specification for water and wastewater infrastructure upgrades at Homolovi State Park in Arizona, prepared by the Arizona Department of Administration (ADOA) and Arizona State Parks. The specification was developed by Valentine Environmental Engineers, Jensen Engineering, and JTA Consulting Engineers, covering detailed technical requirements for multiple infrastructure components across 17 divisions of construction specifications.

The project involves significant infrastructure improvements including replacement of the park's water distribution booster pump system, installation of a new booster pump skid system, upgrades to the potable water storage tank with cathodic protection and a solar-powered mixer, and wastewater system enhancements. Specific improvements include plumbing replacements at the Visitor Center, replacement of campground restrooms with pre-fabricated CXT restroom units, expansion of the RV dump station, and various piping, electrical, and mechanical system upgrades. The specifications provide extensive technical details on materials, installation methods, testing protocols, and quality assurance requirements for each component of the infrastructure renovation.
