About this file
This is an Insurance Requirements exhibit for a Multnomah County contract related to on-call fence repair, removal, and installation services at various locations throughout the county. The exhibit establishes mandatory insurance coverage requirements that the contractor must maintain throughout the contract term. The exhibit does not specify project quantities, response dates, due dates, site visits, bidder meetings, award dates, or contract term details, as these elements are contained in the primary contract document rather than this insurance exhibit.
The insurance requirements mandate that contractors maintain Workers' Compensation insurance in compliance with Oregon Revised Statutes Chapter 656, Commercial General Liability insurance with combined single limits of not less than $1,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 annual aggregate, Professional Liability Insurance with limits of not less than $1,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 annual aggregate, and Commercial Automobile Liability coverage with combined single limits of not less than $1,000,000 per occurrence. All coverage must be provided by insurance companies authorized to do business in Oregon and rated A- or better by Best's Insurance Rating. The contractor is responsible for all deductibles and retentions and must provide current Certificates of Insurance to Multnomah County Risk Management prior to contract execution and upon any coverage renewals or changes. If liability coverages are written on a claims-made basis, tail coverage of 24 months following contract completion is required. Multnomah County must be listed as an Additional Insured on General Liability policies on a primary and non-contributory basis. A breach of these insurance requirements constitutes a Material Default under the contract.
