About this file
The file contains Salient Characteristics for two specialized equipment pieces for the Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Health Administration: an Ultra Low Temp RFID Freezer and an Ambient Cabinet, both designed for specimen storage and tracking. The Ultra Low Temp RFID Freezer must maintain a precise -80°C temperature, integrate with TrackCore system via RFID tracking, feature digital temperature monitoring, and have specific external dimensions of 78" x 23" x 38" and internal dimensions of 51.2" x 17.8" x 28.3". The Ambient Cabinet must maintain a temperature range of 12°C to 30°C, include RFID tracking capabilities, support device identifier barcode integration, and have external dimensions of 80" x 41" x 50" with internal side dimensions of 65" x 14" x 24". Both devices require electronic security features like door locks, temperature alarm systems, and connectivity for data transfer and monitoring. The solicitation (36C24725Q0716) is for commercial items under the NAICS code 493120 with a small business size standard of $36.5 Million, seeking quotes for these name-brand or equivalent medical storage and tracking systems.
