About this file
This memorandum and solicitation describe a federal contract opportunity for flooring replacement work at the Louis Stokes Cleveland VA Medical Center. The project requires installing 800 square feet of corridor flooring on the second floor and will use specific resilient base, resilient tile, expansion joints, thresholds, and temporary barrier materials as identified in the attached brand name or equal spreadsheet. Alternate products must match the specified materials in characteristics such as material, thickness, profile, color, strength, slip resistance, stain resistance, fire rating, and weight capacity. The solicitation will be issued on April 15, 2021 through SAM.gov and bids will be due approximately 30 days later. The opportunity is a 100% set-aside for service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses who must be verified on relevant websites. The contract value is between $100,000 and $500,000 using NAICS code 236220. The awardee must perform at least 25% of the construction work and complete the project within 133 calendar days of the notice to proceed.
