This workflow modification will change how the pharmacy department operates, and new furniture is essential to support the workflow. This will also require the vendor to provide casework recommendations that optimize efficiency.

The vendor will be expected to coordinate all phases of this project with the pharmacy service and additional equipment vendors. During each phase, the vendor will provide the de-installation of existing casework and install new and final connections to keep the pharmacy operational.

The Project Manager shall have at least 5 years of experience in Pharmacy Modular Casework.

The Pharmacy casework and Healthcare Furniture vendor will provide all de-installation and removal of Healthcare Furniture and Pharmacy casework debris. They will be placed in a staged location (to be determined later) to be removed by Logistics.

b. Contractor is required to have an on-site supervisor with OSHA 10 certification.

c. Disseminate and relocate existing furniture to designated areas or per drawings.

d. All dismantled furniture and equipment marked for removal will be moved to a designated location for VA logistic catalog and removal.

Third Phase: The contractor is to design, break down, remove existing furniture, reconfigure current casework, and work around the installation of New Pharmacy Equipment for the Inpatient Pharmacy Section.
