About this file
This file is a Questions and Answers document issued by the Florida Department of Revenue for RFP #DOR15012 regarding DLO Queuing Hardware procurement. The project involves establishing a queuing system across 31 Department of Revenue offices statewide, with 15 locations currently equipped and 16 additional offices to be added through this procurement. The hardware systems include kiosk computers, monitors, cabinets, wiring, mounting hardware, operating systems, secured browsers, and anti-virus software. At minimum, the successful vendor must replace existing media players and kiosks, with additional equipment replacements such as TV monitors and speakers included if required by the proposed solution. The State indicated flexibility regarding specific component requirements, prioritizing vendors who propose the most efficient and effective solution rather than adhering to current system specifications.
Key contractual requirements include a three-year warranty on all hardware components, with vendors obligated to replace hardware one year prior to end-of-life at their own expense and provide original release dates and withdrawal dates. Security specifications require vendors to prevent unauthorized internet access beyond the queuing website through URL and sub-link lockdown solutions. Service level agreements were modified during the RFP process to extend response times from 15 minutes to 24-48 hours following customer service contact, with repair completion timelines adjusted accordingly based on office location. Specifications and quantities for replacement media players, TV monitors, and speakers are dependent upon individual office size and location as detailed in the RFP appendices.
