About this file
This is Addendum Number One to RFP 26-14-E issued by the St. Mary's County Metropolitan Commission for general engineering services. The addendum provides clarifications and modifications to the original request for proposals, which seeks professional engineering firms to provide evaluation, design, inspection, project management, cost estimating, construction engineering and inspection, and bidding services across environmental, geotechnical, water, and wastewater systems throughout all project phases and close-out activities. The addendum addresses questions and concerns raised during the bidding process and establishes clarifications regarding proposal requirements, technical specifications, and administrative procedures to ensure all bidders have consistent understanding of the scope of work and evaluation criteria.
The addendum typically contains revisions to submission requirements, timeline adjustments, scoring clarifications, or technical modifications to the original RFP terms. These modifications ensure equitable competition among bidders and provide necessary guidance for proposal preparation. Bidders are required to acknowledge receipt and incorporation of this addendum in their proposals, and all terms and conditions outlined in the addendum supersede conflicting language in the original RFP document.
