About this file

This is Amendment No. 2 to Request for Proposal 006-2026 issued by Nassau Health Care Corporation (NHCC) for a Hospital Television Service Provider to serve Nassau University Medical Center (NUMC) and A. Holly Patterson Extended Care. The amendment, issued on July 30, 2026, clarifies the proposal submission requirements regarding delivery options for the television service.

The substantive change modifies Section II, Contents of Proposals, subsection 6, Fee & Cost Proposal, to allow proposers to submit itemized cost breakdowns for "each, or either of the following two delivery options" rather than requiring submissions for "each of the following two delivery options." This revision provides bidders with flexibility in their cost proposals by permitting them to bid on one or both delivery options rather than mandating proposals for both. The procurement is subject to contracting goals of 6.00% for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Businesses (SDVOB) and 30.00% for Minority/Women Business Enterprise (MWBE) participation. Direct TV Service has been identified as the incumbent business enterprise, which was awarded an identical or substantially similar procurement contract within the past five years. All other terms and conditions of RFP 006-2026 remain unchanged.
