About this file
This document includes a request for information and federal contract opportunity for veterinary information management software. The U.S. Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity is seeking information on commercially available veterinary information management software to accurately account for all aspects of laboratory animal use and research for the U.S. Army Institute of Surgical Research. Key capabilities required of the software include properly tracking animal movement, protocol usage, scheduling, collecting treatment and procedure data, creating transfer requests, animal billing, managing outbreaks, and generating various reports. Responses to the request for information should include a capability statement and completion of an attachment outlining 16 essential system characteristics. Interested vendors must also provide company information and small business status. Responses are due no later than July 8, 2022. It is anticipated that any subsequent contract awarded would be firm-fixed price with the Department of the Army Medical Command serving as the issuing agency.
