About this file
This document is a Request for Information (RFI) issued by the Tennessee Department of Revenue (DOR) for armored truck services. The DOR has six physical offices throughout the state that accept cash, money orders, and checks from taxpayers and requires a service to securely pick up, transport, and deposit these payments. The RFI asks respondents to provide information on their service areas, pickup preferences, pricing models, and any additional considerations. The RFI response deadline is November 22, 2024, and the state will not pay for any costs associated with responding to the RFI. The RFI responses will be considered confidential until the completion of the evaluation process for any future solicitations related to this project.
The RFI requests respondents to provide a description of their company, indicate which of the six DOR locations they can service, and provide information on their pricing models, including any applicable fees. The DOR is interested in understanding alternative approaches or additional considerations that might benefit the state. The average daily deposit amounts for the six DOR locations range from $500 to $50,000, and the pickup times are currently between 9 am and 4 pm local time on weekdays, except on bank holidays.
