About this file
This is Amendment 2 to Request for Information #31701-03851 issued by the State of Tennessee Department of Finance and Administration, Strategic Technology Solutions Division, updating the schedule for the Emerging Technology Expo 2026. The amendment revises critical event timelines and requirements for vendor participation. The RFI originally issued July 9, 2026, seeks vendor input on emerging technologies and solutions aligned with five transformative pathways: Citizen Experience, Public Safety, Future of Government, Government Operations, and Technology Foundations. The amended schedule confirms the vendor written questions deadline as July 16, 2026, with state responses to questions provided by August 5, 2026. The RFI response deadline is August 13, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. Central Standard Time. Selected vendor participants will be notified by August 25, 2026, and are required to participate in pre-Expo virtual alignment presentations between August 31 and September 4, 2026, to demonstrate solutions to state representatives. The Emerging Technology Expo itself is scheduled for October 1, 2026, in Nashville.
The amendment modifies Section 2.1.d to clarify that selected vendors must participate in mandatory virtual alignment presentations before the expo event to confirm solution alignment with state agency objectives. An agenda and virtual meeting invites will be provided to selected participants following notification. This RFI does not constitute a binding procurement action or commitment to purchase; rather, it serves as a market intelligence-gathering tool to inform subsequent formal procurement actions for vendor partnerships, exhibition space, technology demonstrations, and event operations. No specific pricing submissions, set-asides, incumbent contractor information, or funding allocations are detailed in this amendment phase.
