About this file

This file is a Representative Rotating Equipment Inventory document prepared by the City of Lakeland, through Lakeland Electric, detailing equipment located at the McIntosh and Larsen Power Plants that may require inspection, testing, repair, reconditioning, and storage services under an annual rotating equipment agreement. The inventory is representative and non-exhaustive, including major circulating water and condensate pumps from manufacturers such as Byron Jackson Pump Division, Ruhrpumpen Inc., and Peerless, along with a comprehensive range of AC and DC electric motors spanning from fractional horsepower to 8,000 horsepower at various voltages and speeds. The City explicitly reserves the right to add, remove, replace, or request services for additional pumps, motors, and similar rotating equipment of varying sizes, horsepower ratings, voltages, speeds, configurations, and manufacturers during the contract term, indicating that this inventory serves only as a reference for bidder awareness rather than a definitive scope limitation.

The document emphasizes that bidders should not assume work will be limited to the exact units, models, or asset tags identified in the inventory, as the City may require service on equipment outside the listed specifications, including low- and medium-voltage motors, horizontal and vertical configurations, anti-friction bearing and sleeve-bearing designs, and random-wound and form-wound industrial motor configurations. The representative equipment ranges are carried forward from the City's previous specifications and establish baseline parameters for the types and categories of rotating equipment that contractors may be called upon to service, though actual work assignments may encompass broader equipment portfolios and configurations.
