Description: PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE: This is NOT a request for proposal or invitation for bid. The 45th Contracting Squadron, Patrick AFB, FL announces the anticipated release of Solicitation number FA252120B0009 being issued as an Invitation for Bids (IFB). All applicable provisions and clauses will be included in the actual solicitation. This electronic announcement constitutes the pre-solicitation notice.
This solicitation is being offered to Woman-Owned Small Business (WOSB) firms; all others will be deemed non responsive. Contract award will be based on Sealed Bid – FAR Part 14. In accordance with FAR Part 14.408(a)(3); award will be made to the responsible bidder whose bid, conforming to the invitation, will be most advantageous to the Government, considering only price and price-related factors included in the invitation.
Interested parties should register on-line and subscribe to receiving procurement announcements related to this solicitation via the website at www.fbo.gov. There will be no paper copies of this solicitation. All solicitation information may be obtained through the above referenced website.

Title: Repair Various Lift Stations Project Number: SXHT 17-1005 Place of performance: Cape Canaveral AFS, Florida NAICS Code: 237110 Size Standard: $39.5M Magnitude of Effort: Between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000 Brief description of work: Repair ten (10) lift stations at various locations at CCAFS. For three (3) lift stations (LS 47151, LS 55853, and LS 88928), repair by replacement. Install new pumps, pipes, valves and check valves. Install new wet wells. Provide new electrical control cabinets, main power disconnects and SCADA. Provide wash-down water. Conduct system tests and start-up. Once new lift stations are operational, demolish existing lift stations. For seven (7) lift stations (LS 79139, LS 79140, LS 81726, LS 85124, LS 90404, LS 90405, and LS 81904), install new pipes, valves and check valves and bring all assemblies above ground. Re-line wet wells as required. Provide new electrical control cabinets, main power disconnects and SCADA systems as required. Provide wash-down water. Conduct system tests and start-up.
The IFB will be available on or about July 8, 2020.
This project has a prebid site visit scheduled for Tuesday, July 21, 2020 at 10:00 am Eastern Standard Time (EST). All bidders are highly encouraged to attend.
The performance period for this project will be two hundred and sixty (260) calendar days, to begin 10 days after issuance of the Notice to Proceed (NTP). NTP to be issued within 30 days after award.
This acquisition is being issued under FAR 19.1505 Women-Owned Small Business set-aside and solicited via Invitation for Bid.
The Invitation for Bid will be available by electronic transmission only at: https://beta.sam.gov.
Potential bidders must be currently registered in System for Award Management to be eligible for award. (See internet site: http://www.sam.gov).
Payment for this acquisition will be made through the Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) System.
Contractors must be registered in WAWF, see internet site: https://wawf.eb.mil for registration.
All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered by the 45th Space Wing.
