About this file

This Request for Quotation (RFQ) is issued by the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW) for the procurement of two new, unused telehandlers - one with a 3,500 lb capacity and another with a 6,000 lb capacity. The solicitation requires vendors to submit quotations by May 6th, 2025 at 12 PM PST, with a required delivery date of no later than June 30th, 2025, to the Washougal Salmon Hatchery. Each telehandler must be complete and ready to operate, featuring an enclosed cab with heat, foam-filled or solid tires, front brick guard or fenders, wiper packages, work lights, auxiliary hydraulics, and pallet forks. The equipment must also come with a JLG extended warranty covering two years on the entire machine, two years or 2,000 hours on the drivetrain, and five years on specified major structural components, along with a dealer pre-delivery inspection.

The RFQ includes provisions for small businesses and veteran-owned businesses, with a preference for awarding to these types of vendors if they submit the lowest responsive and responsible bid. The total contract value is estimated to be under $150,000, and the solicitation emphasizes the Build America Buy America Act requirements for domestic production of iron, steel, manufactured products, and construction materials. Vendors must be registered in the Statewide Vendor Payment System and can offer a prompt payment discount. The telehandlers will support WDFW's hatchery and field operations, improving productivity and safety in remote or rugged terrain by providing reliable, heavy-duty lifting equipment for material handling and site maintenance tasks.

WDFW respectfully requests any packaging be without color or dyes.
