About this file

This document is an Amendment (Amendment No. 1) to a Request for Quotation (RFQ) issued by the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW) for two telehandlers with different load capacities (3,500 lbs and 6,000 lbs). The amendment, dated April 23rd, 2025, updates key details of the original solicitation, including modifications to warranty specifications and a significant increase in the estimated total project cost from $72,000.00 to $190,000.00.

The amendment removes a specific brand reference (JLG) from the warranty specification, indicating that any equivalent warranty and equipment meeting the original specifications will be considered. The substantial cost increase suggests potential changes in equipment specifications, market conditions, or expanded project scope. Potential vendors are instructed to direct any questions to Jeremy Finnegan via email or contact the Contracts & Purchasing team, with all other original terms, conditions, and specifications remaining unchanged.

-The specification section (pg. 5) currently mentions a JLG extended warranty. This should simply say "extended warranty" with no specific brand or vendor listed. Any equivalent warranty and equipment that meets the specifications will be considered.

-The original estimated total cost was $72,000.00. The updated approximate estimate for both items is now $190,000.00.
