The flooring must be installed on a Schluter Ditra waterproof membrane system with Schluter floor drains and seam-taped perimeters, all installed according to manufacturer specifications. Work must be completed within 60 days of receiving the purchase order and performed between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday. A pre-work meeting with OPWDD Office of Property Supports and Emergency Services staff is required at least one week prior to commencement to discuss safety requirements and review the work safety plan.

The bid price must include all materials, labor, disposal fees, and site cleanup. This is classified as a New York State Public Works project requiring prevailing wage payment. The contractor is responsible for all disposal of construction debris offsite, repair of any property or lawn damage caused during the work, and provision of Safety Data Sheets to the Plant Superintendent prior to starting work. The facility will remain occupied during work, requiring contractors to take all reasonable care to safeguard building occupants and secure all tools, materials, and equipment at the end of each workday. All work must be coordinated with the facility contact, Ryan Place (1-845-763-2959), and the contractor must warrant all work, including waterproofing, for one year from the date of final payment. Environmental testing reports will be provided prior to work commencement, and no suspected asbestos-containing materials may be disturbed without written clean testing reports.
