Questions and Answers – OPIC-833-16-0002 1
Questions and Answers – OPIC-833-16-0002 – Part 3
1) In Attachment B (SOW) it states: “Upon notification, the contractor shall perform special cleaning as required.” Will we be allowed to perform the “special cleaning” on the days that we are already scheduled to provide contract services? If we must perform “special cleaning” on days other than scheduled service days, will there be a minimum fee for such service calls?
Combination of both. Often times the extra special cleaning will be included/pre-arranged on the monthly scheduled visits to be done at same time. However, we do and may request service at other times which would require an additional trip to the site to take care of the request.
2) In paragraph 3.2 of Attachment B, it states there are 10 icemakers and 14 refrigerators. Are these stand-alone icemaker units or refrigerators equipped with icemakers?
All icemakers are standalone models while all refrigerators are standard units and not equipped with ice makers.
3) Please provide a description of the 2 ovens that will be part of this contract.
It is a single unit in a single galley with double stacked twin ovens – (Kitchen Aide - Superba 27).
4) In the Q&A Part 1 document, the contract value is stated as $102,801. Is this the annual contract value? Or is that figure the value for the entire contract term, since the contract was awarded in
August 2012?
The $102,801 is the value for the entire contract term since the contract was awarded in August
2012 to present.
5) Can you please clarify why you have on the six months extension table 12 (Frequency) instead of six?
The frequency should be 6 months. The spreadsheet is updated accordingly.
