Questions and Answers – OPIC-833-16-0002 1

Questions and Answers – OPIC-833-16-0002 – Part 2

1. What is the carpet square footage of OPIC’s hallways/corridors?

The hallway and corridors would entail 20-25% of the OPIC suite. That equates to approximately 23,000-29,000 square feet of carpet.

2. On weekends what is the contract requirements?

Each scheduled monthly visit for cleaning of the galleys/pantries is typically performed on Saturday mornings. As needed we may have one or two carpets to clean or offices to be detailed, sometimes more. These are typically identified at least 2 days or so in advance of the scheduled visit.

Loading docks are available for unloading and loading of equipment and supplies only. Restricted by the building to be about 45 minutes per use.

3. After getting a service call what is the allotted turn-around time?

As soon as possible based upon the nature of the call without a mandated response time.

Typically OPIC would expect a response for the visit to be within a day or two if practical.

4. How much time is given to complete requested services?

In the past the monthly visits on Saturdays take about 5 hours or so to complete. Any other requested broader services (i.e. quarterly/annual carpet cleaning) will need to be estimated based on contractor’s knowledge of site for scheduling requirements.

OPIC has to schedule and provide escorting based upon the vendor’s estimates for time to complete.
