About this file
This document is a New York State Labor Law 220-i registration requirement notice issued by NYS OPWDD (Office for People with Developmental Disabilities) Long Island Developmental Services Office. The agency is procuring roof replacement services pursuant to its discretionary purchasing authority. The project requires contractors to submit detailed quotes including a completed quote proposal form, itemized cost breakdowns for materials and labor, and project specifications in accordance with prevailing wage requirements. Attendance at a mandatory site visit is required prior to quote submission. All vendors and subcontractors must be registered with the New York State Department of Labor, and a copy of the registration certificate must be submitted with the quote. Interested contractors should direct questions or requests for clarification to Brooklyn.CMM.Bids@opwdd.ny.gov.
This is designated as a New York State Public Works Project, which mandates that prevailing wages must be paid to all workers. The registration requirement under Labor Law 220-i is a critical compliance element that contractors must satisfy before bid submission. The project evaluation will be based on detailed cost breakdowns distinguishing materials and labor costs, with pricing structured according to prevailing wage schedules applicable to public works projects in New York State.
