About this file

This document is a response to questions related to a Request for Proposals (RFP) issued by the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare (the Department) for Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) maintenance services at the State Hospital North campus. The RFP covers standard maintenance and deep cleaning of three commercial ice machines, as well as repair services with a specified markup percentage. The Department clarified that belt replacements are part of the maintenance services budget, and that the ice machine deep cleaning and standard maintenance must be performed twice per year. The RFP does not provide an award date or contract term, but indicates the Department expects offerors to provide their best costs for the services outlined.

The document does not provide specific pricing terms, set asides, incumbents, funding requirements or sources. It focuses on providing clarification to questions related to the maintenance services and requirements outlined in the RFP. Offerors will be required to include their proposed markup percentage for repair services as part of their cost proposal to the Department.
