Notice of Intent: MorphoLens 6 slide scanner
(75N98026Q00457)
The National Institutes of Health intends to award a Firm-Fixed-Price Purchase Order to Morphle Labs Inc.
In accordance with FAR Part 6.302-1, Morphle Labs Inc is the only known responsible source who can provide the products/services that meet our standards. No other source has been identified who can provide the requirements listed below.
The National Institutes of Health (NIH), National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK), Liver Diseases Branch requires a slide scanner to digitize histology slides from mice tissues used in multiple preclinical disease models affecting the liver, gut, and adipose tissue. The acquisition is being pursued to support ongoing research activities through the efficient processing, visualization, and documentation of histology slides. The slide scanner will support a minimum loading capacity of six slides to allow efficient batch processing and will provide high-resolution imaging for accurate visualization and documentation of cellular structures and tissue pathology.
This notice is not a request for competitive quotes. Morphle Labs Inc is the service provider.
However, any available small businesses (e.g., 8(a), service-disabled veteran owned small business, HUBZone small business, small disadvantaged business, veteran-owned small business, and women-owned small business) as stated herein may submit a written capability statement that clearly supports and demonstrates their ability to perform the requirement. A determination by the Government to compete this proposed award based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
It is anticipated that an award will be issued approximately ten (10) days after the date of this notice unless the Government determines that another vendor has the capability to meet this requirement.
