Question 2:

For SDVOSB concerns, at what time during the process does CVE verification need to be completed? At time of SF330 submission, contract award, or other? If it’s required by contract award, what is the anticipated contract award date/timeframe?

Answer 2:

CVE verification needs to be completed at the time the SF330 is submitted. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation 19.1403, “at the time that a service-disabled veteran-owned small business concern submits its offer, it must represent to the contracting officer that it is a (1) Service-disabled veteran-owned small business concern; and(2) Small business concern under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to the procurement”.

I am writing to request a extension on the due date for solicitation NIHOF201800002 Specialized Architect- Engineer (A_E) Services - Office_Hospital_Lab Facility Types. The holidays make this an extremely difficult due date to hit. Both my team, and most (if not all) of our partners and subconsultants have holiday plans and paid time off scheduled and I would like to allow them to keep their plans. Many of our subconsultants are already out of the office for the rest of the year.

Answer 7:
