Offeror Questions and Government Responses June 26, 2018

Question 1: During the site walk it was noted that Panel 2114 is a newer Square D panel, on sheet CBT-4 item 8 indicates that this panel is to be replaced. Please confirm that this panel is a breaker replacement only and not a full panel replacement.

Answer 1: Panel 2114 is breaker replacement only, not a full panel replacement.

Question 2: Please confirm that breaker testing is not required to be performed by the breaker manufacturer and that this can be performed by a qualified testing agency that is familiar with the service of the style of breaker being tested. Would it be possible to have testing performed by a 3rd party independent testing agency rather than the manufacturers’ representatives?

Answer 2: That is correct, breaker testing only needs to be performed by a qualified testing agency, this would include a 3rd party independent testing agency.

Question 3: Please confirm that the intent behind the statement in the SOW under tasks “Provide moving services as required for critical personnel” is not meant to relocate individuals but rather to move items that are obstructing the safe work areas in front of the panels.

Answer 3: Correct, this includes moving items that are obstructing panels for work to commence, not personnel.
