NAWCAD Lakehurst Facility Location

NAWCAD Lakehurst’s facility infrastructure allows for cost effective, on-time and sustainable Aviation Support Equipment to all naval aircraft and system programs in support of Fleet operations and maintenance activities. This is achieved through a unique workforce skillset and infrastructure resources that support aircraft and associated platform interface missions.

Uniquely situated at the center of the hub between NYC and Washington D.C, Lakehurst has access to a diverse population and access to a skilled talent pool. Lakehurst is well situated to leverage a highly skilled and educated workforce from the NY/PA region. When expanding slightly further, the Northeast and New England region offer even more of the same. With many top schools and universities, and our partnering relationships with many academic institutions, the government and contractors are able to recruit specific skilled talent in any of the disciplines. As a result, Lakehurst has a proven track record for successfully recruiting and hiring skilled workers for its open positions. Further, many companies who choose to locate near the Joint Base have employees in addition to those required to fulfill Joint Base supply and service contracts, benefitting the local economy and providing additional capabilities.
