Questions and Answers
Q: How many restroom trailers are needed? Certain areas of the bid states trailer and other areas states trailers.
A: Trailer(s) must meet the minimum parameter in the PWS (ie. 1 stall for women, 2 stalls for men, 2 urinals). Whether this would take one or two trailers to accomplish is up to the vendor to decide, based on vendor’s inventory. PWS has been amended to “trailer(s)” for consistency.
Q: Is there any flexibility with the service time of 6:30AM-9:00AM?
A: Yes, please see PWS which has been amended to state “Services shall be made on a weekday between 0630 to 1600 hours, to be coordinated between vendor and POC after award”.
Q: Can you please clarify the requirements for the cleaning part of the scope of work. Would vendor need to sanitize, wipe down toilets and sink areas etc or just do a light pickup if toilet paper is on the ground for example. Would a bid response be accepted for review if janitorial cleaning (wiping down toilets/sinks, sanitizing) couldn’t be provided?
A: Cleaning includes sanitation, wipe down toilets, empty trash. Please see amended PWS which clarifies the scope of cleaning. Bid without cleaning will not be accepted.
Q: Would a 5 stall restroom trailer be acceptable? Trailer configuration: 2 stalls with sinks on women’s side and 1 stall and 2 urinals with sinks on men’s side. If that’s not enough for the men’s side would the next size up be acceptable? The next size up is an 8 stall restroom trailer – 4 stalls and sinks on women’s side and 2 stalls and 2 urinals on men’s side? \
A: A minimum of two stalls must be accessible for males. Please see PWS Part 2.
Q: Are you able to connect any trailers to sewer line?
A: No, please see Part 4 of the PWS.
