RF-20-R-PIP-28-V2 20” Flight Certified Military Touchmonitor
Rugged Touchscreen Display with NVIS for Military Airborne Cockpit Applications
Selected for the USCG Minotaur Program, the RF-20-R-PIP-28-V2 is the most sophisticated 20.1” flat panel color display presently available for military applications. It employs a 20.1” amorphous silicon active matrix LCD panel with 1600x1200 UXGA pixel resolution and 4:3 aspect ratio. A proprietary dual mode Hi-Brite/NVIS backlight system provides continuous luminance adjustment in two ranges: Daytime and Night Time. In Daytime mode white LEDs provide luminance adjustment from 5cd/m2 up to 800 cd/m2, sufficient for good visibility in full sun conditions. In Night Time mode NVIS-compliant LEDs provide luminance adjustment from 5cd/m2 down to zero offering full MIL- STD-3009 and NVG compatibility.
Designed for aircraft operation, the RF-20-R-PIP-28-V2 features a 28VDC military grade power supply incorporating surge and spike protection compliant with MIL-STD-1275 and -704 requirement standards. Support for DVI, ARGB and Composite video inputs is standard but Display Port and other inputs area available. The sophisticated LCD controller features Picture in Picture operation from a variety of video input combinations. The size, position and transparency of the PIP overlay are all fully adjustable. The full variety, extent and depth of the luminance, video and operational adjustments provided to the user are available through the OSD menu as well as RS-232 remote control.
The RF-20-R-PIP-28-V2 features an advanced 5-wire resistive touchscreen specially engineered to provide maximum visual clarity over the full range of luminance adjustment while minimizing light transmission losses. Both RS232 and USB touchscreen output is provided for connection flexibility.
