QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS

27 January 2023

The following are answers to questions received from potential offerors. The answers provide clarification only and DO NOT constitute an amendment to the solicitation.

1. Should the “Knock-for-Knock” clause from Part V of the DRYVOY proforma be Called Out in the RFP?

ANSWER: The RFP will not be amended to Call Out Part V(aa) LIABILITY (KNOCK-FOR-

KNOCK).

2. Will the Owners or the Charterers be responsible for compensating the Independent Marine Surveyor?

ANSWER: The Owner will directly hire and compensate any independent, recognized marine surveyor, and the Charterer will reimburse the Owner therefor. As stated in the called-out clause, “The surveyor as mutually agreed shall be engaged and paid by the Owner, and the Owner will be reimbursed the costs therefor by the Charterer in accordance with IV(l) ( Reimbursable Supplies and Services (Charters)).” See Part V(u) and (v) for further information.
