A: No, the purpose of requiring accreditation is that it ensures quality. In the absence of accreditation, how would you ensure the services are of a “higher standard”. Educational Accreditation by definition is a type of quality assurance process under which services and operations of educational institutions or programs are evaluated by an external body to determine if applicable standards are met. If standards are met, accredited status is granted by the appropriate agency.

4. Q: Will Navy require the use of psychometric evaluations such as a leadership or emotional intelligence tool to begin the process of the training (requires a master's or doctoral degree in psychology or related field to administer per the firms that sell the tools)?

A: Psychometric evaluations are a required aspect of the curriculum because they help the student better understand themselves and uncover areas for improvement.

5. Q: Is executive coaching involved in the leadership process?

A: Executive coaching/mentorship is a required aspect of the curriculum because each student will come with their own strengths and weaknesses.

6. Q: The RFP/RFQ states 11 participants. Is there a specific number of hours a month for the training?

A: Course length should be about 100-120 hours, spread over 12 months. Course director has discretion on how the hours are divided.

7. Q: If executive coaching is involved, what are the acceptable methods of service delivery?

A: Executive coaching can be provided with a balance between in-person and use of telecommunication services.

8. Q: If executive coaching is involved, will Navy require a Master's or Doctoral degreed individual to provide services?

A: Master’s degree at a minimum. Most of the prospective students in this course are medical doctors and/or have advanced degrees, a Master’s degree ensures the minimum of qualifications are met.

9. Q: The Company offers all classes requested via live instructor led facilitation in 1/2 day sessions during weekdays and weekends. Will this method of delivery be acceptable?
