Synopsis for Solicitation N0018918Q0378 Edutainment Speaker Services NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center, Norfolk, Contracting Department, Norfolk VA, 23511-3392 intends to negotiate a commercial firm-fixed price definite delivery definite quantity contract for Edutainment Speaker services for U.S. Fleet Forces Command. Training workshops are intended to prevent destructive behaviors and shall include Sexual Assault Prevention and Response (SAPR), Suicide Prevention, Drug and Alcohol Prevention and Domestic Violence Prevention. The procurement will be acquired in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 – Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Subpart 13.5, Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items. The requirement will be a 100% Small Business set-aside. Period of Performance will consist of several training dates beginning 08 August 2018 through 21 September 2018.

The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 611430– Professional and Management Development Training; the size standard is $11 Million.

A complete Request for Quote (RFQ) package will be available for downloading at the NECO Website: https://www.neco.navy.mil on or about 03 July 2018. Potential contractors are hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will ONLY be available for download at the above site; this office will no longer issue hard copy solicitations. By submitting a quote, the vendor is self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any federal agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the quote. By submission of a quote, the contractor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation, except for awards to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the SAM database will make a contractor ineligible for award. Contractors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-866-606-8220, or via the Internet at https://sam.gov/portal/SAM/#1#1.
