About this file
This solicitation seeks proposals for the procurement of Digital Signal Processor Inverters for the UH-1Y aircraft. The Naval Air Systems Command intends to award a firm fixed price contract including non-recurring engineering to satisfy specification requirements, delivery of six flight test assets and four validation assets, and testing. Option line items include additional quantities of DSP Inverters for retrofit and spares from fiscal years 2021 through 2022, with a range of 15-25 inverters for potential foreign military sales. Offerors must submit pricing by contract line item and year. Proposed non-recurring engineering is to be completed within 12 months of award, with flight test assets due eight months after award and validation assets 10 months thereafter. Retrofit and spares deliveries would commence 16 months from award at a monthly rate of approximately 25 units. Questions regarding the solicitation are due by August 5, 2019 to the specified Navy points of contact, with contract award anticipated in the second quarter of fiscal year 2020.
