NOTICE TO PROSPECTIVE OFFERORS
RFP NO.: 140F0620R0002
TITLE: Repair Trail and Replace Observation Deck at Bowdoin NWR, MT
DESCRIPTION: RESTRICTED TO TOTAL SMALL BUSINESS CONTRACTORS ONLY!
The contractor shall provide all equipment, labor, and materials necessary to install asphalt, gravel, concrete, and replace the observation deck on the Bowdoin National Wildlife Refuge, Montana. The details of the requirement are outlined in the project specifications and drawings. The contractor will also be required to repair damaged areas from construction, including but not limited to: topsoil replacement, seeding, site conditioning, and/or damage to other property not outlined in this project.
The estimated magnitude of construction is between $100,000 and $250,000. The total performance period is 100 days from the Notice to Proceed.
NOTE: Performance and Payment Bonds are required: IAW 52.228-15 Performance and Payment Bonds -- Construction October 2010—A Bid Guarantee is NOT required.
LOCATION: US Fish & Wildlife Service, Bowdoin National Wildlife Refuge, is located in Phillips County at 194 Bowdoin Auto Tour Road, Malta, MT 59538.
SITE INSPECTION: 52.236-27 Site Visit (Construction). (FEB 1995)
(a) The clauses at 52.236-2, Differing Site Conditions, and 52.236-3, Site Investigations and Conditions Affecting the Work, will be included in any contract awarded as a result of this solicitation. Accordingly, offeror’s are strongly urged and expected to inspect the site where the work will be performed. Failure to visit the site will not relieve contractors from dealing with existing conditions that could have been considered if a site visit was made.

The successful offeror will comply with the Center for Disease Control (CDC) measures to limit the spread of Coronavirus, as outlined on their website at the following link.
