About this file

This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) document for Solicitation HT940625R0009, dated 11 August 2025, addressing a government linen laundering contract. Key details include clarification that the contract will bill on a monthly flat rate basis for cleaning customer-owned linens, with the current incumbent contract being N6883620P0262. The solicitation requests proposals for laundering Government-Owned Linens and specifies that Past Performance Questionnaires should be submitted with the proposal package and sent directly to the Contracting Officer, Andrew Pounds, and Contract Specialist, Erin Biser. Potential contractors were advised to use Attachment III-Pricing Sheet, which lists a Unit of Issue as Month with a quantity of 12, and were informed that renting items is not an acceptable alternative to the government's laundering requirement.

Could you clarify whether we should:

• Proceed with a flat monthly rate as indicated in your price sheet?

Response: Please utilize Attachment III- Pricing Sheet, as linen will be billed on a monthly flat rate basis as noted.

2. Is there any incumbent/recompete or this is a brand-new project? If yes, could you please provide us with their award number or even if the customer bought similar services in the past.

Response: The current incumbent award number is N6883620P0262.

3. Who is the current incumbent contractor for this requirement?

4. What is the incumbent contract number?

5. What is the total contract value (including all option years) for the incumbent award?

6. Are there any notable changes in scope, quantities, or delivery frequency from the incumbent contract?

7. Will the Government provide access to historical usage or delivery data beyond what is included in the solicitation?

Response: Please refer to current incumbent contract number N6883620P0262 in response to questions 3 through 7.

8. Would you consider renting the items?

Response: No, the Government requirement is requesting proposals based on laundering of Government Owned Linens.

9. Could you confirm whether the completed Past Performance Questionnaires should be sent directly to you by the contracting officers, or returned to the contractor for inclusion proposal package? If sent directly, should they go both Mr. Pounds and Mrs. Biser?

Response: Questionnaires should be submitted with your proposal package and sent directly to the Contracting Officer, Andrew Pounds and Contract Specialist, Erin Biser. Please refer to Combined Synopsis/Solicitation Addendum to 52.212-1 INSTRUCTIONS TO OFFERORS under A. Submittal Instructions, 2. Submit one Proposal Via Email.
