TSIC BAA
WHAT IS THE TSIC BAA?
The Transportation Security Innovative Concepts (TSIC) Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) is an open solicitation through FedBizOpps.gov designed to identify innovative security concepts and technologies that can be applied to support the TSA mission of protecting the Nation’s transportation systems. TSA seeks innovations which offer potential advancement and/or improvement of TSA security operations, technologies, processes, human-factors, and capabilities. TSA is specifically interested in concepts that will provide near term improvement of current security operations and capabilities. The TSIC BAA process is anchored by the semi-annual convening of a Review Board, including stakeholders from OA, OSC, OSO, and DHS S&T, to select the best offeror concepts for funding and to identify a focused topic areas for the next TSIC BAA cycle.
