Question 13: LBP Abate; LBP Encapsulate Work Item 47 & 55 Work items state 300 SF of Abate WI 55 Encapsulate is not a single area with interferences.

Contractor has not been advised what areas will be selected and therefore no idea as to the extent of interference removal in way of selected area to price.

Can interferences be treated with a CFR and CR to be determined upon location(s) selected?

How does contractor price an unknown work scope?

This Optional item is related to another Optional Item, WI- 29, Inspect for Presence of Lead Based Paint. Both items are place in the spec based on the CG experience from another cutter. The interferences listed in the specs are the known interferences based on the anticipated areas where the possibilities of lead paint exist. KTR should price based on what is listed in both specs, up to 300 sq/ft of abatement and encapsulation, and listed interferences with the final price being adjusted based on the actual square footage needed upon activation.
