AMENDMENT 001

Version 3 June 18

HQ051618R0013 DIGITIZATION

QUESTION #1

Today looked into the media digitization project (Solicitation Number: HQ051618R0013).

One of the first question is regarding the collection.

As stated in: 6. Contract minimum and maximum quantities

6.2 Digitization of physical still media (all formats as specified above) 0 to 40,000 assets per month

Would our offer been excepted if we only like to offer for the digitization of all physical still media? Meaning no offer for 6.1 & 6.3.

ANSWER #1

Yes, all proposals will be evaluated based on the overall strength of the proposal. While the Government requirement is to have all media digitized, there is a possibility that multiple awards will be made based on the Offerors capability and the volume of Government requirements. See Page 49 of RFP, FAR Clause 52.216-27 "Single or Multiple Awards" And Page 65 of RFP Section L, Para 7.2 "Exceptions to Solicitation Requirements."

QUESTION #2

This is with regard to your requirement for HQ051618R0013 DIGITIZATION.

Could you please help me with the following questions:

1. Whether companies from Outside USA can apply for this? (like, from India or Canada)

2. Whether we need to come over there for meetings?

3. Can we perform the tasks (related to RFP) outside USA? (like, from India or Canada)

4. Can we submit the proposals via email?

ANSWER #2

1. NO. Based on jurisdictional controls of federal records it is required that media does not leave the continental USA.

2. Yes. There will be periodic meetings and inspections. (Meetings may be telephonic)

3. See Answer 1 above

4. YES, BUT HARD COPIES ARE STILL REQUIRED IN THE REQUESTED NUMBER

AND TO BE DELIVERED ON THE CLOSING DATE. Address your packages to

DMA

Contracting: Claudio Casupang 23755 Z Street Riverside, CA

QUESTION #3

I have a question about the Combined Synopsis/Solicitation posted to FBO under solicitation number HQ051618R0013.

I am hoping to find out if there is an incumbent contractor currently performing these services or if this is a new requirement. If there is an incumbent, could you please provide the contract number?

ANSWERS #3

Currently DIMOC would like to consolidate all the digitization process into one contract to meet new the requirements. Therefore, there is no incumbent that is performing the envisioned Scope of Work.

QUESTION #4

-----We are happy to see this request for digitization services. Will there be any opportunity to meet with project staff or see some of the media for purposes of creating our bid? Like an “industry day” of sorts?

-----We are reaching out to find out if you will be hosting an Industry Day for those who have been invited to submit bids? We would like to get a closer look at some of the media covered as part of this project. Appreciate any information you can send our way.

ANSWER #4

Additional information will be published on FBO in an Amendment 2 on or about Monday, 18 June 2018, depicting the conditions to be expected.
