No, vendor is responsible for removing all trash.
13
6.1.3.1 (f) states: “capability to support (4) 24” monitors (plus additional equipment), and 6.1.3.1 states “(4) single monitor arms for each workbench”. (4) 24” monitors (approximately 80” of monitor width), even in a parabolic configuration, will not on a 60” wide work surface. Is a dual “over/under monitor” configuration acceptable?
6.1.3.1
Yes, a dual over/under configuration is acceptable. If over/under means two directly on top of the other. The monitor arms must support a possible reconfiguration at a later date. The PWS states a minimum 60"W and maximum 63"W
14
Are we allowed to offer work stations that improve what has been specified on contract number HC1021-16-T-0001? Specifically, can we use MaxCompact phenolic compact laminate boards with a thickness of 18 mm with anti-scratch system, high shock resistance?
6.1.3.12
All laminate that is equal to or greater than the requirements stated in PWS paragraph 6.1.3.12 are considered acceptable.
15
6.1.3.1 (a) states: the “maximum bench dimensions may not exceed 63”W x 33”D x 33”H”. The 33” overall height prohibits the inclusion of a slat wall above the work surface to mount the monitor arms/ monitors on to them. Is the intent to have the monitors on work surface based monitor arrays vs. slat wall?
6.1.3.1 (a)
33"H is without the monitor arms/wall. Both the surface based monitor arrays and slat wall are acceptable.
| 16 | |
| Regarding the task chair, it calls for the chair height to be 36-48”H. Can you please confirm if this is the overall height of the chair required, or if it is the seat height? A 36”H height of a chair would be a stool requirement. | |
| 6.1.3.2(a) | |
Per the PWS the minimum dimensions are 29”D x27”W x36”– 48”H. These dimensions are for the overall height of the chair.
17
Could it be possible to unify all the cabling punch outs on the working surface on a central zone?
6.1.3.4 (q)
No, a cable separation is required; therefore we are requesting two punch outs to accommodate the routing of data connections from the cable system under the floor.
18
We need the attachment 2 document in a legible format in order to understand its content.
Attachment 2
19
Console sizes. We are looking at each work space being 72” wide, whereas your maximum requirement is detailed as 63” wide. We could meet the maximum width requirement; however, this will make 4 x 24” monitors over hang each work position.
6.1.3.1
No the maximum requirement is 63"W.
20
Please clarify what Clear Cube is, along with physical dimensions. KVM switches, please confirm that you would like these put onto shelves inside the console, and please clarify what thin clients are, along with the physical dimensions and also where you would like them located inside or on top of the consoles.
6.1.3.1(f)
The monitors, clear cube, KVM switches, thin clients, keyboards, mouse, and phones are projected to be placed on the top of the work surface/consoles. The desktops are projected to be stored on the CPU shelves. Please see published answer (#8) for clear cube, KVM switches, and thin client dimensions.
21
Please confirm that operators will be viewing a media wall
Attachment 1
Yes, the operators will be viewing a media wall. The monitors are reflected in Attachment 1 - Conceptual Layout.
22
Delivery access – as per the attached conceptual layout drawing, would the main access be through these doors, located on the left hand side. If so, please clarify the height of the concrete base outside, as we need to look at the possibilities of unloading straight from the truck with a tailgate.
N/A
Yes, they would be through the doors located on the left hand side. The concrete base height is approximately 20".

ClientCube 2 Line of sight separation from the datacenter to the desk!
NSA/NIAP certified KVM Zero Client enclosure.
DATASHEET
The First All-In-One Secure Cross-Domain Level PCoIP Solution
Following in the tradition of purpose-built solutions for Federal and DoD customers, ClearCube’s ClientCube 2 is the first endpoint that consolidates multiple networks
(tactical, secret, confidential, unclassified) into one device at the desktop, while main-taining physical network separation to centralized computing resources in the datacen-ter. VMware Horizon View and PCoIP Blade PC workstations can now be isolated and secured in the datacenter without compromising the user experience or network securi-ty at the desktop. This sleek all-in-one unit integrates ClearCube’s secure stateless zero client devices with Belkin’s NIAP-approved secure KVM (keyboard-video-mouse) switch to create a multi-network workstation like no other.
Integrated Secure KVM
The integrated, Secure KVM features true data path isolation for superior security and data protection for government agencies. One of the most utilized preventive measures for thwarting attacks, KVM switching devices can be used to securely connect peripheral devices, including audio equipment and large high-resolution displays, and to switch quickly among multiple computers and networks with a single keyboard, monitor, mouse, and smart card reader. It is fully compatible with legacy and new government systems and is listed and approved to the latest KVM testing standard (EAL 2, Protection
Profile v2.1). The KVM switch is specially designed to prevent peripherals from leaking information and to remain tamper-free upon delivery. ClientCube 2 helps agencies save time, money, and resources by future-proofing their workstation security investments.
Minimized Space Consumption
Desktop real estate is at a premium, and ClientCube 2 optimizes every inch of consump-tion. Low profile zero clients (fiber, copper or both) are tightly coupled with the Secure
KVM switch to eliminate excess cable lengths, wasted power connections, and sloppi-ness that looks unprofessional.
Market Leading Innovations
The Secure KVM included with ClientCube 2 features unidirectional data flow that prevents upstream USB intrusion; high-retention force USB connectors to eliminate unexpected cable disconnections; illuminated and color-coded port indicators; and com-mon access card (CAC) port locking that maintains user login to selected host networks.
