About this file

This is a Scope of Work document issued by the Harbor Commission in Connecticut for the annual servicing of navigational aids and dock floats. The Mack Lane dock is to be removed for the winter season. All removals must be performed on or after November 15, 2026, and completed by November 30, 2026. Navigational aids and buoys shall be set according to the directive of an onboard Eastern Harbor Management Commission (EHMC) representative. Bidders are required to provide a comprehensive report detailing needed repairs and associated repair costs, though repair costs are not included in the bid scope.

The bid scope requires contractors to provide inspection services and detailed reporting on the condition of all removed assets with itemized repair cost estimates. The cost of actual repairs is excluded from the bid and will be handled separately. The contract term covers the fall removal and spring installation cycle, with specific performance dates requiring completion within a 15-day window in November 2026.
