About this file
This document is a brand name justification for Cisco and Aruba networking equipment required by the United States Special Operations Command. The justification cites Federal Acquisition Regulation authority to acquire the equipment on a sole source basis from Cisco due to compatibility requirements with existing network infrastructure. The contracting office is Naval Special Warfare Command seeking to award a firm fixed price purchase order valued at approximately $XXXXXXX using FY20 Operation and Maintenance funds. The equipment will support network operations at the Naval Special Warfare San Diego location and introduction of equipment from other vendors is considered cost prohibitive and would negatively impact current network operations. The requirement will be solicited as a small business set-aside.
