After passing the second traffic signal (Woodlawn Drive), make the next right (Robert Myers Boulevard) and an immediate left (North Drive) to enter the SSA Headquarters Complex. Proceed to the guard booth in front of the nine-story Altmeyer Building, the tallest in the group of buildings. Pull up to the booth, step out of the vehicle, and identify yourself to the guard. However, if you plan to bring a laptop computer or any other equipment into the building, please advise your host in advance so he/she may obtain a Temporary Property Pass for you. Entering the Building
Once inside the building, approach the reception desk and advise the guard that you are a visitor. Inform the guard of your host’s name and telephone number. If you did not receive your visitor’s parking permit from the Altmeyer Guard Booth, please inform the guards of the make, model, color, and tag number of your vehicle, and they will issue you a visitor hangtag parking permit. You must display this permit in your vehicle by hanging it from the rearview mirror. Your host will need to report to the guard desk to sign you into the building. The guard will issue you Visitor’s Building Pass. You must visibly display this pass at all times during your visit. Visitor permits are valid in spaces marked “Visitor” and in all spaces not marked RESERVED. Once you enter the building you will place your handheld items through an x-ray device. You will then walk through a magnetometer. If you have a medical reason why you cannot walk through a magnetometer, please inform the guards.
Exiting the Building
You may exit at any location with a security desk. Return the Visitor’s Building Pass to the guard at the desk. If you are removing any equipment, the guard will ask you for a Property Pass.
