About this file
This is a Request for Quotes (RFQ) issued by the State of New Jersey, Department of the Treasury, Division of Purchase and Property, for a statewide furniture contract. The RFQ is soliciting quotes from vendors with active GSA contracts under Schedule 71 Furniture & Furnishings - Miscellaneous Furniture, specifically targeting various furniture categories for state and local government agencies, boards of education, colleges, and other intrastate cooperative purchasing participants.
The contract covers furniture for multiple settings including office, dormitory, residential, library, classroom, and lounge environments, with eight distinct price lines covering different furniture types such as daycare, healthcare, institutional, and packaged furniture solutions. Bidders must provide percentage discounts from their GSA price lists, offer installation services at prevailing wage rates, and provide design and layout services. The base contract term is four years with potential extensions up to three additional years. All bidders must offer installation and design services, bid on price lines 1-8, and have an active GSA contract. The state intends to make awards to responsive bidders meeting the requirements, with a focus on small business enterprises and recycled product considerations. Pricing will be evaluated through a mini-bid process where using agencies will solicit competitive quotes from awarded contractors.
