About this file
This file contains Request for Quotation (RFQ) notes prepared by the City of Detroit, Michigan, specifically for fill removal and replacement services at 8990 McClellan (Parcel ID 19006958, 48213 zip code), a 3,006 square foot DLBA-owned property. The RFQ seeks qualified vendors to remove and replace fill material at this planned residential demolition site. Interested vendors are required to visit the site to understand current conditions that may affect their bid pricing, and vendors assume full responsibility for reviewing all available documentation prior to submission. Successful vendors must be pre-qualified suppliers for planned residential and/or emergency residential demolition work under the Office of Contracting & Procurement's Detroit Demolition Program RFQQ #1 and will be subject to all associated terms, conditions, and requirements of their pre-qualification.
Material quantities listed in the fee schedule are estimates, and vendors will only be compensated for actual amounts of material removed and replaced. Awarded vendors must source backfill material from Category 2 sources approved on the City of Detroit Backfill platform. An owner's representative must be on-site during services specified in Sections IV and V of the Scope of Services. Vendors are subject to the "CDD_Abatement and Demolition_Contractor Discipline Policy" dated May 12, 2025. The City will disqualify vendors that are subject to disciplinary action as of the RFQ due date or that have not commenced fill removal within timeframes stipulated in the applicable Scope of Services for work assigned on or after January 14, 2026.
