About this file

This is a Federal Required Certification document related to the City of Pasadena Water & Power (PWP) contract opportunity for Powerstrut Equipment and Miscellaneous Electrical Parts in California. The certification document outlines mandatory federal compliance requirements and representations that vendors must provide as a condition of contract award. The solicitation seeks a qualified vendor to supply powerstrut components, electrical hardware, and miscellaneous parts essential to PWP's utility operations, including support for the Transmission & Distribution, Electric Engineering, Field Services, and Warehouse Operations divisions. These materials are critical for construction projects, equipment installations, repairs, and routine maintenance of the City's electrical infrastructure and grid operations.

The federal required certification establishes the legal and compliance framework that bidders must satisfy to be considered for award. Vendors must certify compliance with federal regulations, representations regarding business status, and adherence to applicable laws and regulations governing federal contracts. The document serves as a standardized requirement to ensure that all potential contractors meet federal standards and can legally perform work on behalf of the public utility, regardless of contract funding sources or the specific nature of the materials being supplied.
