About this file

This is a Buy American Certificate template (FAR 52.225-2, October 2022) that requires offerors to certify the domestic or foreign origin of end products being supplied under a federal contract. The certificate mandates that offerors identify all end products as either domestic end products or foreign end products, with domestic end products defined as those meeting Buy American requirements under FAR Part 25. For foreign end products that do not consist wholly or predominantly of iron or steel, offerors must indicate whether they exceed 55 percent domestic content, with an exception for commercially available off-the-shelf (COTS) items. Offerors must also separately list line item numbers for domestic end products containing critical components as defined in the applicable Buy American clause.

This template is associated with a Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Health Administration (Network Contracting Office 19) sources sought notice (Solicitation Number 36C25926Q0469) for Mental Health Platform Beds at Rocky Mountain Regional VA Medical Center. The sources sought notice, issued for market research purposes only, seeks information from potential suppliers by May 18, 2026, regarding their capability to supply these items. Interested firms must provide company information, points of contact, item availability on the open market or Federal Supply Schedule (FSS), delivery timeframes, country of origin/manufacture, and socioeconomic classification eligibility (small business, HUBZone, 8(a), SDB, women-owned small business, etc.). The anticipated NAICS code is 339113 (Surgical Appliance and Supplies Manufacturing), and this notice is not a formal solicitation or commitment to award.
