• Test section is 16-ft x16-ft x40ft
• Total number of blades 97
• 31 – A Row, 33 – B-Row, 33 – C-Row
• Mach range 0.6 to 1.6
• Compressor operating speed 60 to 600 rpm
• Operating pressure 0 to 4200psfa
• 331000 hp (247 MW) drive train input power
• Max temperature 320 to 360 F
Blade Overview
• Blades are ~7-ft long
• Material
– 7781 E-glass
– Resin for repairs wet layup
TL1188A and FH 13508. Pre-preg Cycom 7668
• Steel strong back and bushing
• Weight = ~115 lbs
• Secondarily bonded cuff and tip-cap
• Designed in 1965
