FORKLIFT LEASE
QUESTIONS & ANSWERS II
Q1. Solid pneumatic tires are used for indoor warehouse as well as outdoor needs as they are the same size as air filled pneumatic tires and have the same deep traction on them, however they are filled with solid pieces of rubber that guarantee no flat tires. Are these acceptable.
A1. No. The Government requires air filled pneumatic tires.
Q2. The age requirement is stated as ‘NEW’. Are you just looking for current models that are still in production like the Toyota 8FG7OU. This has been around for 6-7 years. Would you accept a unit that is 6-7 years old but in good condition? Or are you asking for equipment that is specifically brand new from the factory?
A2. We'll accept the Toyota 8FG7OU or newer model that meets the criteria. No used equipment.
Q3. If you require brand new items from the factory - please advise how long you are willing to wait for them to be delivered as lead times can be up to 3-4 months long and we want to make sure we are quoting you based on what is currently in stock & ready to deliver A3. New is the requirement and would like it delivered on the start date of the contract.
Q4. Would a 15k diesel with scrubber be an acceptable alternative to the 16k propane?
A4. No Diesel. Must use propane
Q5. Are vinyl cabs acceptable or will you only accept steel cabs?
