DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES

1. Non personal services: To provide all labor, material, equipment, supervision, and transportation necessary to provide warehouse material handling equipment to AFRL/RIOLST, to the Air Force Research Laboratory, Rome NY for the base period of 17 October 2015 through 16 October 2016, Option Year 1: 17 October 2016 through 16 October 2017 and Option Year 2: 17 October 2017 through 16 October 2018 in accordance with the requirements set forth below:

3. The contractor shall provide maintenance as specified below:

A. Periodic Maintenance (PM): This includes the scheduled parts and labor service activities recommended by the manufacturer (i.e. check and adjust brakes, lubricate inner slides and chains, etc.) as noted in the owner/operators manual and performed at the specified intervals. Normally, the PM schedule occurs at approximately 200 hours intervals or once per quarter, whichever comes first.

B. Routine repairs (RR): This includes the unscheduled parts and labor service activities required to repair minor breakdowns or equipment failures (i.e. ruptured hoses, brake overhaul, etc.) whenever they occur. In general a PM service which if comprehensively done will minimize the number of RR’s required. Services are to be on as required basis when notified by the Maintenance Section, AFRL/RIOLM during the hours of 7:30 a.m. through 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.

C. Replacement Equipment: Replacement equipment must be provided if equipment will be out of service for repairs for a period greater than 24 hours. Additionally major repairs will not be performed on site.

D. Tires: Three (3) Flat Tire Service Calls per year.

E. Daily Maintenance: The government is responsible for the daily care, inspection and fluid level replenishment. This includes, but is not limited to, checking and replenishment of hydraulic fluid, lubricating oil, brake fluid, electrolyte, and radiator coolant/antifreeze. The contractor is required to provide to the government a checklist (one copy for each piece of equipment).
