DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES

Parts Availability and Configuation Control

Awardable Task Order 3

1.0 PURPOSE

The purpose of this task is to provide USAF with parts analysis/availability and a configuration management plan for the MHU-141.

2.0 STATEMENT OF WORK

2.1 Monthly Status Reports: The Contractor shall supply monthly status reports per PWS paragraph

4.18 to support this effort, and shall project timelines to support described efforts. The Contractor shall fully document and explain proposed methodology(ies), and final delivery/product/result(s)/etc., due to efforts required herein. The contractor shall exhaustively seek to ensure that Government tasks/deliverables are correctly understood, and fully executed to satisfy AFLCMC/WNZEA requirements.

2.2 In accordance with paragraph 4.7 of the PWS, the Contractor shall provide assessment of all MHU-141 trailer components to determine procurement options through Government supply systems and through commercial options. This portion of the effort will not consider replacement components but availability of current components. Upon task finalization, a final report and details shall be generated in accordance with paragraph 4.10 of the PWS.

2.3 In accordance with paragraph 4.7 of the PWS, The Contractor shall work with the Program Office to develop an extensive configuration management plan for the MHU-141 program. The contractor shall define and document the configuration management procedures, processes, and activities used to control and manage the development and modifications of products supporting the program. Contractor shall utilize government and industry (IEEE) standards for guidance of CM Plan development. Upon task finalization, a final report and details shall be generated in accordance with paragraph 4.10 of the PWS.

3.0 TRAVEL

Travel shall be reviewed and approved by the Government contracting official per paragraph 4.14 of the PWS requirements.

4.0 PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE (PoP)

The estimated PoP for 2.2 herein shall not exceed 90 calendar days from task order issue.

The estimated PoP for 2.3 shall not exceed 150 days from task order issue.
