B-2 Tooling Move Pre-Proposal Conference July 14, Questions and Answers:

How many times will cranes need to be used?

o So far the reservists have only had to use it once, but that maybe more as time progresses.

Does Tooele have the equipment that is needed on their end as well?

o Yes, but they need ten days’ notice to get the equipment needed in accordance with the PWS.

Does Tooele have a 15,000 pound lift?

o Yes, they also have a 20,000 pound lift.

Will Tooele unload the equipment?

o Yes, Tooele will unload the equipment.

Why does Tooele need 10 days’ notice?

o The storage area is 20 miles from the gate, and the equipment may be in use elsewhere on the Depot, the 10 days are needed to route and cordinate the correct equipment when needed.

Will Tooele let the truck drop of the trailer at the gate?

o No

What equipment is stackable?

o It depends on the equipment, and will be on a crate by crate basis. The equipment should not be damaged in any way during transport.

Should the contractor put wait time for Tooele into their Bid o Yes

Does Tooele have capacity for dry vans?

o Yes, Tooele has portable ramps that facilitate box trailers.

Are there any chemical out in Tooele that the drivers need to worry about?

o There are no harmful chemical at the depot area, masks will not be needed.
